CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Two teenagers are facing charges after police say led them on a chase with two stolen cars.
An Evendale Police officer observed two suspicious vehicles near Cooper Road and Winnebago around 5 a.m. Sunday morning. When he approached the vehicles, they sped away. The drivers lost control about 150 yards away, where they were confronted by another officer. Both drivers then fled on foot.
A Sharonville officer and his canine partner tracked the suspects, and they were apprehended without incident.
Further investigation revealed the two cars had been stolen from Breezy Vista in Reading overnight on Saturday.
Jacob Montgomery, 18, is charged with receiving stolen property and obstructing official business and is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center. A 16-year-old juvenile is facing the same charges and was released to a parent.
