CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) - A man was seriously hurt after he fell from the hood of a car on Interstate 75.
Police say Ebony Martin, 28, and her passenger Kwame Afoh Ankomah, 32, were involved in a verbal dispute on the right berm of northbound I-75 between I-74 and the Mitchell Avenue exit.
Martin, who was originally seated in the passenger seat, got in to the driver's side and attempted to leave.
That's when Ankomah jumped on the hood of the car. Martin crossed four lanes of traffic and struck the median wall, causing Ankomah to fall off the vehicle and land in the road.
Ankomah was transported to University Hospital. His condition is unknown, but police say his injuries are serious.
Police say alcohol and drugs are factors in the incident. The crash remains under investigation.
The interstate was shut down for about three hours.
