Ohio family celebrates Christmas with new quints

MASSILLON, Ohio (AP) - A northeast Ohio family is expecting diapers under the tree now that all five of their quintuplets are home from the hospital.

The infants were born on Aug. 3, about 14 weeks early, to Amie and Vince Spicocchi of Massillon. They were cared for at Akron Children's Hospital as they matured. The youngest, Gia, made it home first, on Nov. 10.

The only boy in the group, Enzo, went home three weeks later. Amie Spicocchi tells the Akron Beacon Journal that each baby weighed less than 2 pounds at birth.

All now weigh more than 9 pounds. Vince Spicocchi says the couple, with help from family and friends, go through 35 bottles over seven feedings each day, and that "whoever is the loudest gets fed first.ver is the loudest gets fed first."

They also use 45 to 50 disposable diapers each day. And mom says, "Santa's bringing diapers."
