Teens arrested for pair of street robberies near UC

CORRYVILLE, OH (FOX19) - Two teenagers have been arrested for a pair of street robberies near the University of Cincinnati campus.

Police say a group of college students was robbed just after midnight on Short Vine Street. A second robbery was reported a few minutes later on the same street.

No one was injured.

Police arrested Emmanuel Thorpe and Marquie Young, both 18, in the 3000 block of Euclid Avenue. Both face six counts of aggravated robbery.

According to court documents, both of them were carrying .22 caliber revolvers. Police say they stole the victims' keys, cell phones, cash and wallets.
