LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - Police arrested a suspect shortly after a bank was robbed in Lebanon.

The U.S. Bank on 640 Columbus Avenue was robbed at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Police say a white male entered the bank and demanded money. He obtained the cash and fled behind the bank, getting into a black PT cruiser parked in an apartment complex.

While detectives were processing the scene, Lebanon Police located the PT Cruiser parked behind an apartment building on W. Northwood Drive. An individual matching the description of the suspect was behind the apartment building.

During a pat down search of the suspect, a large amount of cash was discovered in the front pants pocket. Some of the currency had the same serial numbers from the robbery.

The suspect, Jesse James Lasecki, 29, was charged with aggravated robbery and child endangering. The child endangering charge was added after a child was found in the car.
