LAWRENCEBURG, IN (FOX19) – Prosecutors want to add additional charges against the woman accused of fleeing the scene of a fatal hit and run back in September that killed a child.

Christina Shackelford-Grammer told police she thought she hit a deer, when in fact she ran over Jack Carpenter, 3, killing him in front of his grandmother's home on North Dearborn Road.

Dearborn-Ohio County Prosecutor Aaron Negangard has motioned to amend charges to add Reckless Homicide, a class C felony.

Shackelford-Grammer is already facing one felony for failing to stop after an accident resulting in death, also a class c felony.

A hearing will be held on Jan. 24, 2011 in Dearborn Superior Court I in front of Judge Jonathan Cleary.
