Routine traffic stop leads to a police chase

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police arrested a man after leading them on a foot chase in Mill Creek on Friday.

The chase began as a routine traffic stop on Hopple St. When police pulled him over, the man jumped out and began running.

The chase led police to a train yard near Hopple Street. It eventually ended when the man jumped into a creek nearby, and police pulled him out.

The man's identity, or why he ran, has not be released.
