Cincinnati's new Fire Chief is officially introduced
CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) – Cincinnati's new Fire Chief is officially introduced.
Richard Braun will start January 18th and he is bringing 36 years of experience from the Columbus Fire Division with him.
"It's in everyone' interest, in the communities interest to work with the new chief and get the best outcome possible, the best service with the resources we are given," said Marc Monahan, President of Firefighter's Union.
Braun will have to deal with the possible cuts to his budget after the firefighter layoffs were avoided. He is replacing former Chief Robert Wright, who decided to retire.
