(FOX19) - A Winter Weather Advisory for all counties in the Tri-State has been extended until 7 p.m.

Meteorologist Katy Morgan says our widespread accumulating snow has come to an end. An additional inch or less could be seen throughout the day Wednesday.

Winds picked up Tuesday evening and continue into the day Wednesday, with wind at 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph at some points, which is causing blowing and drifting snow. For a list of snowfall totals so far, click here.

Several accidents scattered local roads during the Tuesday morning commute, including a few minor school bus accidents. No one was injured in any of the accidents involving school buses. Several accidents were also reported Wednesday morning, as overpasses, bridges, ramps and side roads remained especially slick.
