Commandos Release 2011 Schedule

Cincinnati, OH - After claiming the city of Cincinnati's first-ever professional football championship, the Cincinnati Commandos will be back to defend their Continental Indoor Football League Championship as the 2011 home schedule has been released.   The Commandos will open their season and defense of their title at home on Saturday, March 5 against the Chicago Knights.  The Commandos will host six home games at the historic Cincinnati Gardens.  The home schedule is as follows:

   March 5 vs. Chicago Knights – 7:35 pm  

   March 19 vs. Indianapolis Enforcers – 7:35 pm  

   April 8 vs. Port Huron Predators – 8:05 pm  

   April 29 vs. Dayton Silverbacks – 8:05 pm
   May 21 vs. Indianapolis Enforcers – 7:35 pm
    May 28 vs. Marion Blue Racers – 7:35 pm


The Commandos have reloaded their roster stockpiles with some new, but familiar names, including former Florida State great and 2000 Bengals/NFL first round draft choice, wide receiver Peter Warrick.  Also new to the roster are quarterback Tyler Sheehan (LaSalle High School, Bowling Green State University, Houston Texans), defensive lineman Derrick Crawford (Cincinnati Bengals, AFL), wide receiver Maurice Lee (Ohio State) and defensive back Brandon Harrison (Dayton Chaminade-Julienne, University of Michigan). In addition, the roster has players who played high school football at Elder, Moeller, Colerain, Lakota East, Fairfield, Hamilton and Middletown.
