(FOX19) - Steady snowfall across the Tri-State on Tuesday caused a slew of accidents.

Just before noon, a tractor trailer jack-knifed on westbound Interstate 275 at I-471. Only the left lane was open while crews cleared the accident. All lanes reopened by 2 p.m.

In Grant County, an overturned and jack-knifed tractor trailer slowed traffic for a few hours  at the southbound 149.5 mile marker. The truck was leaking fuel from its saddle tanks, but the big tank was empty. That accident was cleared around 11:30 a.m.

In addition, several accidents involving school buses were reported. One occurred just before 7 a.m. on Clough Pike and Shayler Road in Union Township. Another occurred on Dana Avenue and Winding Way when a bus came around a bend and slid, causing the front of the bus to strike a retaining wall. A bus also slid into some trees on Kellogg Avenue.

In all of the accidents involving school buses, no students were on the buses and no injuries were reported.

The City of Cincinnati issued its Emergency Accident Procedure, meaning if you are in an accident in the city and the cars are driveable and there are no serious, just exchange information with the other drivers.
