CRESCENT SPRINGS, KY (FOX19) - A man was flown to the hospital Thursday night after crashing his car in Crescent Springs.
Erlanger Police were called to the intersection of Buttermilk Pike and Anderson Road just before 11:30 p.m.
Officers found a Ford Mustang had been westbound on Buttermilk when the driver, David J. Moellman, 38, of Crescent Springs, lost control and struck a utility pole sideways. The car hit the pole on the driver's side, collapsing the car inward and entrapping Moellman.
Moellman was extricated from the car and flown to UC Hospital.
Police say he was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. However, speed is believed to be a factor.
The accident remains under investigation.
