CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory and the City Manager Milton Dohoney addressed the public on current road conditions Friday afternoon.
The announcement was made at a salt dome garage. Both the Mayor and City Manager spoke about the City of Cincinnati's efforts to try and fight Mother Nature.
"Because of the gravity of ice etc that were dealing with, we're not in the position to provide curb-to-curb service," said Mallory. "Tonight it will be cold again and we expect some re-freezing to occur so if you don't have to be out please don't go out."
The City Manager encouraged people to have working smoke detectors in their home and to be very careful with space heaters. He also advised people to stay away from burning scrap wood in fireplaces. He also reminded everyone to keep your skin covered in the cold.
