Name released of victim in West Chester fatal accident

WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - West Chester Police responded to an accident on Lesourdsville West Chester Road on Saturday morning around 10 a.m. after a truck drove into a parked moving van.

That accident resulted in the death of Aaron Michael Thompson, 25, of Cincinnati.

According to police, Thompson and another man, 41-year-old Clayton Marksbury of Fairfield, were unloading a moving van when the driver of the truck lost control of his vehicle.

Police say the truck hit the back of the van, where Thompson was standing, trapping him between the van and the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say that Marksbury was thrown from the back of the van onto the ground. He was taken to the hospital along with the driver of the truck, 57-year-old Richard Hamilton of West Chester.

Marksbury and Hamilton both have non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing in this case.
