Man convicted for murdering neighbor, digging his grave

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Mount Washington man has been convicted for murdering his neighbor, then digging his grave.

A Hamilton County grand jury found William Stringer, 75, guilty of murder, two counts of tampering with evidence and one count of gross abuse of a corpse. He was found not guilty of aggravated murder.

Stringer shot and killed his neighbor, Alan Farringer, in June and then dug a grave near the sidewalk of his home.

Stringer will be sentenced on Jan. 27.
