SPRINGDALE, OH (FOX19) -- Ohio Representative Connie Pillich hosted one of her many office hours to meet with constituents.
The meetings were held at the Panera Bread on Kemper Road on Monday. The purpose of these office hours is to speak one-on-one w with the residents of her district, gather local input on state issues and identify community concerns.
FOX19 spoke with Pillich and asked if she's changed her security process since the shootings in Tucson. She says she has in some ways.
"I don't stay buried in my work. I make sure I look up a lot and see who's coming in. I make sure I can see the door, and see who's coming in. I have to take steps for my personal protection, and I have."
Connie Pillich says she will continue to hold open office like these all the time.
