CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Nagel Middle School student who was hit by a bus in the beginning of January will be leaving Children's Hospital Thursday.
12-year-old Alexander Aldridge was hit by a bus January 4th, when he darted in between two school buses on Nagel Road. He had to be flown to Children's Hospital, where he spent several days in critical condition.
According to Alex's parents on his care page, Alex has been recovering well and sooner than expected. They received the news that Alex will be going home on Thursday.
According to Alex's parents, "Alex will still have a LONG road of therapy ahead and will not be returning to school for awhile. Our hearts are filled with joy and gratitude for ALL of those involved in Alex's care and recovery as well as the many prayers being said all over the U.S."
