CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Some young hockey players got the chance to play hockey in Fountain Square as part of the Cyclones Classic.
The youth tournament, organized by the Queen City Hockey Association and Northern Kentucky Hockey Association, had pre-selected teams with equivalent skill competing against each other throughout the day.
There were two divisions of teams at the tournament. The "Mites" consisted of children between the ages of six and eight. The "Squirts" consisted of teams between the ages of nine and ten.
The Cyclones Classic also consisted of a Hockey Skills Clinic with Cincinnati Cyclones players and an exhibition game with the Cyclones.
The event was free and open to the public.
