(FOX19) - WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT THIS EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON
Clouds will increase today with temperatures near 33º. The first of two waves of this WINTER STORM will move in this evening and into early Tuesday. A light wintry mix will form after 7pm and then pick up by midnight and into the overnight making travel conditions tricky.
As much as one tenth of an inch of ice could accumulate on the roads and trees, with amounts as much as one quarter of an inch north of Cincinnati. Temperatures will warm enough Tuesday afternoon that most of the viewing area will see freezing rain chance over to rain.
The second wave will move in Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning as an area of low pressure passes by, bringing light snow on the backside of the system with only light accumulation possible. We will continue to TRACK with updates on air...online...and on the go with our mobile applications
