Nine people arrested; 17 indicted on drug charges in Clermont County

CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - New details have been released on a large drug sweep in Pierce Township, Clermont County. On Wednesday, a total of 17 people were indicted by a grand jury on 46 charges related to trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs, illegal assembly, permitting drug abuse, cultivating marijuana, and receiving stolen drugs.

According to Sheriff A.J. Rodenberg, "The investigation seized cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and prescription narcotics including oxycodone, hydrocodone, valium, adderall, alprazolam, diazepam and morphine. Combined street value was over $176,000.00 and throughout the investigation we were able to seize twelve handguns and one long rifle."

Of the 17 indicted, only nine have been arrested. Those nine are in the Clermont County jail.

Following are the individuals indicted by the Clermont County Grand Jury on Thursday, February 2nd:

Michael Hicks, 59, Amelia, OH was charged with one count of Permitting Drug Abuse, a fifth degree felony.

David Morgan, 33, Amelia, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a third degree felony; one count of Cultivation of Marijuana, a third degree felony; one count of Possession of Marijuana, a third degree felony.

Aleisha Casbar, 22, Cincinnati, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony; one count of Permitting Drug Abuse, a fifth degree felony.

Otis Beckley, 23, Amelia, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a fifth degree felony.

Ryan McDaniel, 28, Amelia, OH was charged with one count of Possession of Drugs, a second degree felony; one count of Cultivation of Marijuana, a second degree felony; one count of Illegal Assembly/Possession of Chemicals, a third degree felony.

Andrew Buskirk, 27, Amelia, OH was charged with one count of Possession of Drugs, a second degree felony; one count of Cultivation of Marijuana, a second degree felony; one count of Illegal Assembly/Possession of Chemicals, a third degree felony.

Jason McIntyre, 36, Cincinnati, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a second degree felony; one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a third degree felony.

Brittney Smith, 27, Amelia, OH was charged with one count of Receiving Stolen Drugs, a fourth degree felony.

Grady Stemmerding, 21, Bethel, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a third degree felony; one count of Possession of Drugs, a fifth degree felony.

Kimberly Sebastian, 35, Cincinnati, OH was charged with one count of Aggravated trafficking in drugs; one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a third degree felony

Mark Gillespie, 33, Loveland, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a third degree felony; three counts of Trafficking in Drugs, a fifth degree felony.

Mark Richey, 43, Amelia, OH was charged with one count of Possession of Drugs, a fifth degree felony; one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a third degree felony; one count of Possession of Drugs, a fourth degree felony; one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a fourth degree felony; one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a fifth degree felony.

Steven Day, 51, Bethel, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a second degree felony.

Will Asbury, 27, Amelia, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a second degree felony.

Amanda Matheny, 27, Amelia, OH was charged with two counts of Trafficking in Drugs, a third degree felony; two counts of Possession of Drugs, a fifth degree felony; one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a second degree felony; one count of Possession of Drugs, a fourth degree felony.

David Hartman, 26, Cincinnati, OH and Blue Ash, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a fifth degree felony; one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a fourth degree felony; two counts of Possession of Drugs, a fifth degree felony; one count of Possession of Drugs, a fourth degree felony.

William Quick, 50 , Cincinnati, OH was charged with two counts of Trafficking in Drugs, a fifth degree felony; two counts of Possession of Drugs, a fifth degree felony.
