Two men indicted on 11 felony charges each

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Clermont County Grand Jury believed there was enough evidence to send two men to trial for multiple felonies after an eight month investigation by the Miami Twp. Police Detectives.

According to a news release from the Miami Twp. Police, on May 2nd and May 21st, both men broke into Sunoco Food Mart in the 1300 block of State Route 131 and JP's Deli in the 6300 block of Branch Hill Guinea Pike in Miami Township.

This break-in resulted in $40,000 in damaged and loss of property to the victims. The Dayton area offenses, along with the suspect's criminal histories, were used to pursue a charge of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.

Ben Brewer, 30, of Dayton and Michael Riley, 38, of Dayton were indicted on eleven felony counts each which included: One count of Corrupt Activity, two counts of Breaking and Entering, two counts of theft, two counts of Safe Cracking, two counts of Vandalism, and two counts of Disrupting Public Service.
