MEDINA, Ohio (AP) - The state fire marshal's office says two occupants are unaccounted for following a house explosion in northeast Ohio.
Office spokesman Shane Cartmill says it's presumed the two were inside the home in Hinckley township at the time of the explosion and subsequent fire. No cause has been released. Cartmill says the investigation could take considerable time because of the amount of damage.
A release from Hinckley police says residents in the rural area reported hearing an explosion and seeing flames around 7:30 a.m.
Hinckley police and fire officials did not immediately return calls.
