MASON, OH (FOX19) - The Mason teacher accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with five students will be released on her own recognizance and has resigned from her teaching position.
Stacy Schuler, 32, is charged with 16 counts of sexual battery and three counts related to providing alcohol to underage teens.
During the Mason School Board Meeting on Tuesday, the Board accepted the resignation of Ms. Schuler. She is no longer on paid administrative leave.
Schuler has another court appearance scheduled for Wednesday.
Schuler faces up to 81 years in prison if she's found guilty.
