HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Hamilton County held a special election for two school levies on Tuesday.
In Mt. Healthy, an additional tax levy for the Mt. Healthy City School district failed, with a vote of 419-1,479. The levy would have cost $7.65 million, and cost the owner of a $100,000 house $228.
The proposed school levy for the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place City School District passed by a vote of 315-256. That levy will cost $14.49 million, but will not result in any additional taxes for anyone in that school district.
