Fettuccini Alfredo with grilled chicken strips, Gorgonzola Shrimp Sauce, Limoncello Ice

This is a last minute best way to a man's heart through his stomach.  Why go out?  Stay home and make a great quick meal for him.
Gorgonzola Shrimp Sauce
Prepare Sauce
Whisk together until thickens with a food processor:
1 cup of mayonnaise
4 ounces of gorgonzola cheese
½ teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
One 8 ounce container of sour cream
2-3 tablespoons of milk
Place sauce in a large open glass like a Martini glass and place a few shrimp around the rim of the glass.

Fettuccini Alfredo with grilled chicken strips
Serves 4-6
Prepare the pasta
In a large pot of boiling water add 1 teaspoon of Kosher salt and cook 1 box of Fettuccini according to the package. 
Prepare chicken
While the pasta is cooking in a large skillet pour ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil, and 2 cloves of garlic (chopped) on low heat.  Then add 1 pound of frozen chicken strips and cook for 10-15 minutes until heated through and golden brown.  Add 1/2 cup of very dry white wine and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Prepare Alfredo sauce
Drain the pasta and in the same pot on low heat add 1 stick of butter, 1 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, 1 cup of whipping cream 1 teaspoon of Kosher salt, and 1 teaspoon of white pepper.  Mix well
Final preparation
After the cheese has melted add the chicken and serve with Italian bread and tossed salad.  For dessert just serve some good quality ice cream with store bought cookies. 
Limoncello Ice
Prepare dressing
In a large pan at medium temperature add:
3 cups of water
1 ½ cups sugar (super fine dissolves faster)
This makes a simple syrup.  Then add:
Zest from a lemon and the juice from the lemon
1 ½ cups of limonchello liquor
Carefully pour into a glass pan and place into the freezer.

Scrape out with an ice cream scoop and serve in a nice liquor glass.
