RIPLEY COUNTY, IN (FOX19) – Over the last couple of days more charges have been filed and arrests made in the ongoing, multi-county, multi-agency investigation of burglaries, thefts, arsons, and vandalism's.
Friday an arrest warrant issued by the Ripley Circuit Court was read to Kenneth R. Partlow, 19, of Sunman while he was being held in the Franklin County Jail on multiple felony charges related to the investigation.
The Ripley County warrant charges Partlow with 17 felony counts and eight misdemeanor counts all related to arsons, burglaries, thefts, and criminal mischief offenses in Ripley County as part of the ongoing into multiple arsons, burglaries, thefts, and criminal mischief offenses occurring last year in Decatur, Franklin, and Ripley Counties. Partlow was still in being held in the Franklin County Jail after he was arrested last month on a Franklin Circuit Court warrant charging him with multiple charges including Arson, Burglary, and Criminal Mischief related to this investigation.
Travis W. Christenberry, 22, of Batesville was arrested Saturday on five felony counts and one misdemeanor count including arson, burglary, and criminal mischief related charges stemming from this ongoing investigation. Christenberry was also arrested last month on a Franklin Circuit Court warrant for arson as it related to this investigation and was free on bond prior to his arrest Saturday.
Also arrested Saturday on a Ripley Superior Court warrant was Eric M. Carpenter, 20, of Versailles for one count of Receiving Stolen Property, a Class D Felony also related to the investigation.
Two male juveniles, one from Ripley County and one from Franklin County are also facing charges related to this investigation. The Ripley County juvenile is currently in custody at the Dearborn County Juvenile Detention Center on unrelated charges while the Franklin County juvenile remains free pending a juvenile hearing.
