Police identify shooting victim found on Norwood Lateral

BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) - Police have a identified the victim of a fatal shooting and crash that shut down the westbound side of the Norwood Lateral for a few hours Friday morning.

Police say Desmond Jennings, 22, was found shot to death inside a car at the 0.0 mile marker of the lateral around 2:20 a.m.

Police responded for a report of a car crash, and found Jennings shot to death.

The westbound side of the later was closed until just before 7 a.m.

There's speculation he may have been involved in a rolling gun battle on the lateral, but that hasn't been confirmed.
