HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) – Investigators say an overnight fire in Hamilton may have been set deliberately.
The Hamilton Fire Department responded to the six-unit, vacant apartment building located at 316 Main Street around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
Upon HFD arrival, smoke and flames were showing on the first floor of the structure, but the fire was quickly contained. Four engine companies, one truck company, one medic unit, and one command unit responded to the fire. Crews were on the scene for two hours.
There were no injuries, but crews estimate damage at $5,000.
There are no suspects at this time, but Police say the same building was set on fire in October 2010.
