Mayor: City on edge following sniper-style attacks
"We plan to find him." The mayor of Charleston, West Virginia says police are following every lead as they try to solve three sniper-style killings over the past week. Danny Jones tells N-B-C's "Today" show people in his city "are being very careful" as the hunt for the assailant continues. Investigators who worked on the Washington-area sniper case are aiding Charleston-area police. Police haven't said the three shootings are definitely the work of the same person. But the shootings are similar in nature and the fatal shots all came from the same class of weapon. Authorities have issued a description of a pickup truck seen leaving the scene of one shooting and the man who was driving it. But Mayor Jones notes that he fits that description himself -- and he also drives a pickup.
