PRINCETON, WV (FOX19) - West Virginia State Police have located the missing vehicle of the elderly couple missing since last week.

The 2004 Marquis driven by Richard and Gladis Russell was located in a parking lot of a Wal-Mart shopping center located in Princeton, West Virginia at about 6:00 pm Tuesday. There was no sign of either the Russells or Samuel Littleton, the accused murder suspect suspected of taking the vehicle.

The vehicle has been towed and taken to a secure facility.

Samuel Littleton is accused of the murder of Tiffany L. Brown, the 26-year-old daughter of his girlfriend in Logan County, Ohio. Authorities have been searching for Littleton and the Russells since last week, and authorities believe that Littleton is near Princeton. Littleton had bought a home from the Russells in 2009.

Before Tuesday, the last reported sighting of the Russell's vehicle had been at a rest stop in Butler County. The search had taken authorities to the Rumpke Plant in Colerain Township. Searches there have so far turned up nothing.
