UNION, KY (FOX19) - A Union, Kentucky man has been arrested for shooting at a family member and friends in the early morning hours of Thursday, February 24.
Police say Jarrod Doolin, 42, opened fire around 1 a.m. on Thursday, after a dispute concerning land ownership. According to police, Doolin fired a shot in the air, then another into a pickup truck where two people were sitting, and finally pointed the gun at another person while threatening him.
Doolin, who lives in the 12000 block of Bender Road in Union, KY, is charged with Attempted Murder and two counts of Wanton Endangerment in the 1st degree. He is being held in the Boone County Detention Center in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
The incident came to light when those affected came to the Sheriff's Office on Friday, February 25 to report it.
