CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A 59-year-old man accused of robbing a bank was in court Monday.

Bond for Clifford Schulte was set at $20,000.

Investigators say Schulte entered the Columbia Savings Bank at 411 Ludlow Avenue shortly before 10 a.m. on Saturday and demanded money from the teller. Police received the call at 9:55 a.m., but when officers arrived at the scene, he had already fled eastbound on Ludlow Avenue on foot.

A short time after the robbery had occurred, District Five Officers located Schulte at 369 Ludlow Ave. After the subsequent investigation, Criminal Investigation Section's Major Offenders Unit along with District Five officers arrested and charged Schulte with one count of robbery for the bank robbery offense.
