OVER THE RHINE, OH (FOX19) - Future plans for Over the Rhine's Brewery District are being unveiled Tuesday morning.
The planning effort will outline objectives for the neighborhood and include ideas for improvements to public infrastructure, codes and land use for the area.
The Master Plan will be a neighborhood-level plan guided by the Over the Rhine Comprehensive Plan of 2002. It will highlight investment and development opportunities for businesses and real estate developers that will be supported by the neighborhood, and will help guide efforts for public improvements to accommodate private development.
It will also prepare pre-development information for selected sites to give potential developers a head start.
Over the past few years, the Brewery District has led efforts to develop heritage tourism in Over-the-Rhine with Prohibition Resistance Tours, the Biegarten at Findlay Market and Bockfest.
