Police looking for help in attempted Meijer parking lot abduction

WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - West Chester Police are asking for public help and asking people to be conscious of their surroundings after an attempted abduction last week outside the Meijer store on Tylersville Road, west of I-75.

Police say that a woman was accosted in the parking lot of the Meijer around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24 when she was getting into her car.

The suspect tried to pull the victim from her car, but she fought back and freed herself from him.  The man ran to a nearby SUV and drove off.

He is described as a tanned-skinned Caucasian or Hispanic male, about 5'7" tall, and was wearing a brown or tan jacket.  The vehicle is described as an unknown SUV with a square or boxy body.

Anyone knowing anything about this man or incident is asked to call the West Chester Police at 513-759-7272.
