United Way reminds residents they don't solicit door-to-door after robbery reports
LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Butler County United Way is reminding residents they do not solicit door-to-door donations after several reports of robberies.
The Liberty Township Police Department says there has been a string of residential robberies involving an individual soliciting door-to-door donations to United Way.
United Way officials say they do not solicit for donations door-to-door, encourage supporters to solicit door-to-door, or have any future plans to solicit door-to-door. This person is collecting money for personal gain instead of community impact.
The Liberty Township Police Department is investigating this situation and can be contacted at 513-785-1300 if someone comes to your home and claims to be collecting donations for United Way.
