Sanitation workers taken to hospital after being sickened by fumes

CORRYVILLE, OH (FOX19) - Two Cincinnati sanitation workers were taken to the hospital Thursday morning after they were picking up trash and sickened by fumes.

The workers, whose names have not been released, were taken to University Hospital just before 8 a.m.

Dispatchers say the workers were picking up trash on Oak Street in Corryville when something in the truck made them sick.

Investigators are trying to figure out what made them sick. Their conditions are unknown.
