MORNING VIEW, KY (FOX19) - An early-morning car accident leaves one person dead in Kenton County. Kenton County Police Officers found a car crashed into a tree on Rector Road in Southern Kenton County.
The accident happened at 3:30 a.m. According to a statement from the Kenton County Police, the driver lost control of the car. The driver, Jacob Elder, 22, was flown by AirCare to University Hospital. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The passenger, John Rudde II, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. He was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. Both Elder and Rudde lived on Rector Road.
This cause of this accident is under investigation by the Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Unit of the Kenton County Police Department.
