WAYNESVILLE, OH (FOX19) - Waynesville village council has approved plans by a local company to rebuild the Der Dutchman restaurant.

The restaurant was severely damaged in a fire last October.

The popular stop for tourists will be rebuilt by Fields Family Enterprises as a similar style restaurant.

Kyle Fields, a spokesman for Fields Family Enterprises, says they are looking forward to putting jobs back in town. He said they will use other parts of the Der Dutchman property to expand their company offices.
