BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - Averee Fields scored 20 of her 30 points in the second half to help Calloway County beat Newport Central Catholic 62-57 in overtime Thursday in the first round of the Kentucky Girls' Sweet 16 tournament.

Kiley Bartels made two free throws with five seconds left in regulation for Newport Central Catholic (25-5) to tie the game at 57. A last-second shot by Abby Futrell rimmed out so the teams went to overtime.
