Funeral arrangements made for soldier killed in crash

BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) - Funeral arrangements have been set for a soldier from Clermont County who died in a car crash in Georgia.

Army Private Tony Castelluccio, 20, died last weekend in the Albany, Ga. area. He was a passenger in a car driven by Lonnie Cooke, 18. The pair was making their way from Fort Knox to Fort Stewart.

Castelluccio's body will be returned to the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airport on Saturday, March 12 at 3:39 p.m. The processional will travel along I-275 to SR 32, turn right on Glen Este-Withamsville Road, go past Glen Este High School and Veterans Memorial Park, turn left on Clough Pike, continuing on McMann Road, left on SR 125 to the E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, located at 177 W. Main Street in Amelia.

Friends and community members are asked to line the streets near Glen Este High School, Veterans Memorial Park, and the Nurre Funeral Home to welcome Pvt. Castelluccio home.  The motorcade is expected to arrive on SR32 around 5 p.m.

Visitation for Pvt. Castelluccio, a 2009 Glen Este graduate, will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Glen Este Performing Arts Center, located at 4342 Glen Este-Withamsville Road in Union Township.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 8 p.m.
