MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - A free seminar was held in Middletown, Friday, to address violence in schools and how to deal with it.
The seminar was presented to area police departments and schools as a way to recognize signs of teen aggression and violent acts.
Area school officials say that this kind of seminar is important because it can help them to prepare in the event of a school shooting.
Nationally recognized speaker Colonel Dave Grossman spoke, Friday, about signs of youth can see as violent.
The seminar was funded by a grant from the Middletown Community Foundation.
About 260 people from 30 different schools and police agencies.
