Students hold fund raiser for victims in Tucker Restaurant shooting

OVER-THE-RHINE, OH (FOX19) - Students from St. Francis Sereph School showed their support, Friday, for two shooting victims at Tucker's Restaurant.

Students decided to raise money for the two victims by holding a penny board challenge.

The entire school took part in the challenge to raise money for the Mama Tucker as well as the young woman customer who were both shot when a man walked into the restaurant and opened fire.

"Tuckers is such an important part of over the rhine and st sereph school wanted to show their support for the two shooting victims and to welcome back tuckers and let Mr. Tucker know that we are thrilled to know that he stayed open," Kathy Russell, St. Sereph School, "Plus, everybody loves to eat here."

Later this year, the school will hold their student council luncheon at Tucker's.
