CINCINNATI (AP) - For the first time since Bob Huggins was coach, Cincinnati is back in the NCAA tournament.
The Bearcats snared their first tournament berth on Sunday, receiving a No. 6 seed. They'll play Missouri on Thursday at 9:50pm in Washington, D.C.
It's a breakthrough for the Bearcats, who last reached the tournament in 2005 under Huggins. He was forced out after the season, and the Bearcats hadn't made it back.
They had their first winning record in the Big East this season, finishing seventh. The Big East has 11 teams in the 68-team field.
There's a chance for a rematch with Connecticut on the second round.
