Jennifer Grove, FOX19 reporter on WXIX - Cincinnati News, FOX19-WXIX TV

Jennifer Grove

Jennifer Grove joined the FOX19 News Team in March 2011 as a video journalist.

You can see Jennifer's reports each weeknight during the evening newscasts and follow her @FOX19Jennifer for updates throughout the day.

As a general assignment reporter Jennifer covers it all; from helping lead FOX19's investigation of the IRS scandal from Cincinnati to the halls of Capitol Hill, to pressing elected officials on how they're choosing to spend your tax dollars, and giving a "voice to the voiceless" as flood victims deal with unsanitary sewer overflows.

You can often find Jennifer beneath a mound of documents sifting through legalese and complicated language to pull out the details that affect you. She takes pride in making the public records requests that bring policy concerns to light, tracking down local officials in hiding, and seeking out the other side of the story that is going untold. Jennifer takes FOX19's Balanced News brand to heart and believes that Journalism is about sharing context in addition to the facts and telling all sides of a story.

What you may not know is that Jennifer shoots all of her own video and edits her reports as well. Being a Video Journalist allows her to see stories through multiple lenses and appreciate the complexity of each story.

Before coming to the Queen City, Jennifer worked in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at FOX19's sister station WMBF-TV. While there, Jennifer helped to cover all of Mother Nature's major events. She provided national coverage during the Horry County Wildfire, shared some of the first live pictures of Darlington, SC tornado damage, and reported live from the coast whenever hurricanes threatened Carolina waters.

Prior to her time at WMBF, Jennifer freelanced for WNEG-TV in Toccoa, Georgia where her work included coverage of the 2008 elections.

Jennifer proudly bleeds Red and Black as a graduate of the University of Georgia. While at UGA, Jennifer double-majored in Spanish and broadcast news. She also worked as a reporter and producer for the local cable news program Newsource15.
