COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - A Kenton County man accused of getting a 2-year-old child drunk has been sentenced to 90 months in prison.
Raymond Jackson, 23, pleaded guilty to charges of encouraging his own stepdaughter in May of 2010 to drink a combination of Gin and iced tea, which caused her to pass out. Police say the child's blood alcohol level was measured at 0.25. Which is over three times the legal limit for an adult in Kentucky. Her condition was so serious; she was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital for treatment. The child recovered.
In June, Jackson was in a Kenton County courtroom where the judge ordered Jackson to stay away from his stepdaughter.
After the incident, Jackson was taken to the Kenton County Detention Center and was held on a $10,000 bond. He is currently in the Kenton County Detention Center.
