Home of Cincinnati Bengals Defensive End destroyed in fire

MASON, OH (FOX19) - The Mason home of Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Antwan Odom has been destroyed by fire.

Fire crews responded to a call shortly before 3 a.m. on Tuesday at a home in the 4500 block of Raynor Court, a part of the Heritage Club Golf Course. A second alarm for the fire was sent out at 3:10 a.m. Firefighters from Deerfield, Mason, and Lebanon were all on the scene.

No exact damage estimate has been released, but the roof of the home collapsed as a result of the fire. Firefighters say it is a total loss.

Nobody was home at the time, and no injuries are being reported.

Neighbors tell FOX19 that Odom spends the off-season in Alabama.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Fire investigators were unable to get into the house on Tuesday, saying that it was still too dangerous to enter.
