(FOX19) - Tri-State Kroger stores accepting donations for American Red Cross Japan relief efforts.
Beginning Tuesday, March 15th and continuing until March 27th, all Cincinnati and Dayton Area Kroger stores will accept monetary donations to the American Red Cross Relief effort for Japan.
Donations can be made via the plastic coin boxes located at each register in the store.
"The devastation Japan has suffered from these catastrophic events is beyond comprehension," said Sukanya Madlinger, President of Kroger's Cincinnati/Dayton division. "Kroger has a great partnership with the team at the Red Cross; we want to be here to make the donation process easy and comfortable for those who wish to help. The monetary donations made at your local Kroger store will go directly to the Red Cross International Relief effort."
All Kroger 110 locations in Cincinnati, Dayton, Northern Kentucky and Batesville, Lawrenceburg, and Connersville Indiana are participating in this drive.
