CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Local government members, health professionals, and emergency crews came together on Wednesday to announce a new program to help save infants.
The program is called the Safe Sleeping Project and it's designed to inform parents on how to make sure their infants are sleeping in safe positions.
The announcement was made at Cincinnati Police Headquarters. There officials discussed new strategies to make sure all Hamilton county babies are taken care of properly.
To help promote awareness for this cause, the city is putting up billboards to promote the program. These will be seen throughout the city.
