Bengals player serves as a local Charity Ambassador
HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -- Kevin Huber from the Cincinnati Bengal's will serve as an Ambassador for Sojourner Recovery Services.
For the second year in a row, the group has partnered with a professional athlete to serve as an Ambassador. Last year, Bengal's player Jonathan Fanene started the position.
As an Ambassador, Huber will participate in several fundraising events, community awareness functions, and help share the need for treatment.
"All of us know someone who has been affected by a drug or alcohol addiction. It's important that they have a place to get help." Huber commented. "I'm glad to be serving as Ambassador for Sojourner Recovery Services. They've had 26 years of successful service to the community and helping single moms and adolescents get treatment. This treatment helps to restore families that are destroyed by this disease." Huber added.
Huber will be participating in awareness programs in the community throughout the year in both Hamilton and in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Sojourner Recovery Services provides quality, comprehensive services for primary substance abuse and/or related mental health issues for their clients.
