CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The streets in downtown Cincinnati were filled with hundreds runners from around the tri-state, Sunday.
The Mercy Health Partners Heart Mini-Marathon and Walk held these races to raise money and promote awareness for heart health.
The mini-marathon held their traditional races, including a new half-marathon course.
The race kicked off early Sunday morning and participants hope to make a difference in the lives of heart patients.
"This is a good training run for the Flying Pig Marathon, so it's a good training race and I see a lot of inspiration people out there who have had heart issues and they're out here running, so it's a neat race to run in," said Spence Weber, runner.
There were races were on streets all around the downtown.
